The 5th grade class was chosen to participate in Southwest Airlines’ Adopt-A-Pilot Program. Captain John Oglesby made his first visit today. He told the 5th graders about his career as a pilot. He will make more visits throughout the semester.

This program connects Southwest Pilots with classrooms across the country to provide mentorship and engage students in aviation-related lessons to further develop leadership skills and spark an interest in aviation careers.
