Tipton Public Schools is looking for a person to become our next Treasurer. The position is not a full-time position. The person will spend the first six months training under our current treasurer and learning the Oklahoma Cost Accounting System while doing the job together. This can be a work from home job with an occasional trip into the school for questions and information. Basic knowledge and skills in accounting are necessary. This person will have to pass a background check through the OSBI and the State of Oklahoma. JOB LISTINGS: Full-time Maintenance Position
Tipton Public Schools is looking for a full-time maintenance person. The applicant must be able to complete General maintenance work orders; Dealing with vendors and purchase orders; Mowing and weed eating as assigned; Delivering supplies to school sites; Aid in keeping school property clean and free of clutter and trash. The person will need to obtain a bus driving license (training will be provided) to fill in as needed for regular bus drivers. Also, the person needs to be able to perform other routine duties as assigned. The applicant will have to pass a background check through OSBI and the State of Oklahoma. The maintenance position will pay $15-$17 an hour depending on experience. Tipton does provide health insurance and retirement. If interested, pick up an application at the administration office.
Job Listing - Middle School Certified Teaching Position - Tipton Public School
Tipton Public Schools is looking for a certified teacher to come and join our family. The position open is for Middle School teaching (primarily 6th, 7th, 8th ELA). Tipton pays $1220 over the state minimum salary. We also provide health insurance, dental and a life insurance policy. Requirements are: Oklahoma teaching certificate.
